Removing Barriers Through Creativity

At Lindsey Entertainment, we believe the arts aren’t just a form of expression—they’re a gateway to opportunity, connection, and lifelong success. That’s why we created “Elevated By Art”, an initiative dedicated to removing barriers for individuals in the arts and entertainment world.

Whether it’s access to training, hands-on experience, or financial support, our mission is simple: eliminate the roadblocks that stand between individuals and their creative potential. We focus primarily on empowering youth and young adults ages 12 to 25—helping them discover their voice, build their skills, and pursue careers in creative industries.

We are actively developing a variety of creative camps designed for youth ages 12 to 18. These camps will evolve year after year based on community needs and feedback—but they all share one goal: to spark curiosity and build confidence through the arts.

Some of the creative disciplines we aim to feature include:

• Film, Video & Photography
  Learn about the storytelling process, production crew roles, and how media is made—from concept to final cut.

• Music Production
  Explore the basics of recording, studio techniques, and the business behind music creation and touring.

• Theater Production
  Dive into acting, directing, set design, and what it takes to bring live performances to life.

These are just a few examples of the types of camps we plan to offer. Specific opportunities will be announced as they become available. 

Our specialized workshops and training sessions are tailored for emerging adults ready to take their creative passions seriously. These sessions are designed to remove skill-based barriers by giving real-world insight and hands-on training in focused areas of the entertainment industry.

• Music Engineering

• Production Design

• Photography

Class topics will rotate based on demand, community input, and instructor availability.

Lindsey Entertainment proudly offers paid, hands-on internships directly through our company—giving young creatives real-world experience on active productions in film, music, and media.

Thanks to valuable partnerships with different career service organizations, we’re able to provide 200–300 hours of paid internship opportunities each year. Interns work alongside our professional team, gaining practical skills, mentorship, and portfolio-worthy experience—all while getting paid.

Financial limitations should never be a reason someone misses out on opportunity. That’s why “Elevated By Art” offers a range of scholarship options designed to help students of all ages thrive.

• Middle & High School Students
  Apply for scholarships to attend outside camps, activities, and programs being taught/offered by local universities, colleges, and performing arts centers.

• College Students
  Receive financial support to pursue a degree in creative fields such as film, music, graphic design, or theater.
